Series comparison Gammin Colorado series mini-site Interesting... The touch screen interface is yards easier/quicker to negotiate through features and menus, and the smudges/prints are negligible and easily cleaned. Ususally the screens are satin/matte anyway, which doesn't distract when a littel dirty, unlike a gloss screen. And the larger screen in a smaller package is desirable. I got this one because I could use it in the car and boat. I even bought chart plotting software that I can plug in for when I go to Table Rock. This unit has a very short battery life. Like 2 hours. One thing I did not think about was the fact that because it is a touch screen, it is difficult to see in direct sunlight.
