How in the world are those people wakeboarding without a boat?

We'll be wakeboarding there as soon as the lake defrosts. Last weekend there was a sheet of thin ice on it and the highs for Big Bear are predicted to be in the 20's next week.

Well not quite that soon! Probably in July.

There's some seriously slashable powder up there.

I'm loading up the floor jack and heading up again on Sunday. By then there should be another foot or more, but chains required. Floor jacks come in real handy installing chains.

BTW, those pictures on the first post are constantly changing and not in my control so the captions don't really match anymore.

What prop and carb adjustments do you do for the boat?

EFI, so no adjustments there.
I do have another Al prop that has a smaller pitch (14x17) than the SS that I normally use (14x19).

I have thought of running the 14x17 at lower elevations (Under 3500' AMSL) to help with the hole shot and getting a 14x15 for higher elevations.

Current Lake Temperature: 62 degrees average.

So it'll be a while still!

Do you under rev at WOT at about 6,700 feet?

With the 14x19, yes. The water level was quite low in 2003 when we went up there and I haven't been back since but it was under max RPM at WOT at that time.

The plan is to get up there this summer (August) with the 14x17 and see how it works and maybe even try it out at Silverwood (3250 elevation).
