Pretty good show.
Sad to see Favre leave the game.

Are the ‘boys the best in the NFC?

Great game. Actually lived up to the hype. Not a bad showing from Rogers either. Still can't believe TO dropped/ bobbled in the endzone. The 'Boys did a nice job, best we've been in at least 10 years.

Maybe a repeat in January??

I refuse to pay Comcast for NFLN so I missed the game. I think it sucks that the NFL feels the need to make even more money than they already do. It's not like they are hurting... If I'm going to pay to watch football on a special network, there better be nothing but cheerleader shots when there would otherwise be commercials on network TV.

NFL network is not available via our cable company. So we were out of luck and couldn't watch the game.

NFL Network and the Big Ten Network - neither of which we get via our cable company. Who's next?

Could have gone to a bar and watched the game, but that would have cost more than I wanted to spend on a Thursday night, just to watch a game.

No fear Mark...... watch CBS next Tuesday @ 10:00 p.m. That should "lift your spirits up" or at least lift something up.

We have NFL network through Dish. Listening to Bryant Gumbel call a game is as painful as a Sunday morning sermon with a hangover.

Farve did his best Rex Grossman imitation yet before getting knocked out of the game. However Packer fans should have some peace of mind with Aaron Rodgers (sp?) play last night. Given his limited playing time, he did a nice job keeping the game close.

I thought after he referred to the cowboys as the pack's in the first quarter someone would have tapped him on the shoulder and said "let the Chris talk". I watch Chris each week on Inside The NFL on HBO and he is good. Was painful listening but enjoyable to watch. I became a cowboys fan when Johnny Unitas retired and the there have been some lean years but they seem to be on the path to some good years to come.

Which Chris do you mean? There's two of 'em on Inside the NFL. I enjoy listening to both of them, for the most part, but I prefer Collinsworth. Just curious.

DALLAS SUCKS!Just kiddin' I'm a die hard 'Skins fan,so no love lost between me and the 'Boys, however they have proven to be the class of the NFC and are looking good for home field this year.

DirecTV here...Did you know Marion Barber is the "heartbeat of the Green Bay offense?"...hey anyone can make a mistake like that flipping the team name, but aaargh!...if we can all hear how bad the guy is how is it the network hires this guy? Put Deion, Marshall, Duke, Mooch, Rich or any of the others in there. I like almost the whole rest of the crew at NFL Network, I just don't see how something like this happens. He could maybe work the baseball or golf circuit (actually his best call of the night was using baseball terminology for a pass play), but I don't want to be put to sleep watching football!! His voice and phrasing, even when he is not making mistakes is just brutal.

I will say he got slightly and I mean slightly better as the game went on but there is just no need for him to be in there. There must be a ton of people who would love that job. I had to suffer throught him on Thanksgiving day as well. I even tried to find an AM radio station to listen to last night...but the satellite delay would have made that rough too.

EDIT: The weird thing is I have vague memories of liking him way back when, back when he did sports before the Today show. Something happened to him and the way he talks...he is just so whiny sounding, unenthusiastic and annoying now.

EDIT2: Oh yeah, great game to watch. I was glad to see Brett turn into the Brett I'm used to seeing the last few years. With Rodgers maybe we will see a number of exciting Green Bay/Dallas games in the years to come. He did make a bonehead play late w/ the spike to stop the clock, burning a down when they still needed a 1st, but it was really too late anyway at that point...30 secs left.

I am a little worried about T.O. Even though he gets the yards and TDs overall, I don't see him really going after and fighting for the ball like a guy his size should. He's a great player and his hands have gotten better this year, but if I have one play to throw to a guy w/ the game on the line I'm not sure he is the guy. He's great to have during the course of the game though, b/c if you go to him enough some big plays will come out of it.

Not letting Chris Collinsworth off the hook either. This guy is a legend in his own mind and a real tool.
