Ebay has had it's fair share of these lately. Bogus "too good to be true" listings from overseas sellers using legitimate ebay id's that have been hijacked. They are doing this quite a bit with Harley Davidson motorcycles i.e listing $20000 motorcycles for $9500
They instruct the potential buyer to deposit 1/2 the money in a transunion account - supposedly that cant be touched until the item is received. Unfortunately, the money does get transferred and no item is ever sent.

Rinker for Sale... she's sold.
Item has been pulled as the rightful ebay id found out that their ID was hijacked, probably got a phone call asking them about a boat they have never owned or even knew was for sale.
Here is another current scam auction - a $23000 Harley for $11000. Any takers? . . . .Best of luck. For fun, send an email to inquire. You will surely get an email back indicating the bike is overseas and to please immediately deposit money into a western union account.
