Done it in Mexico, quite a rush. How high is that? I've done about 30 feet and that was enough. Another guy did the same jump and shattered his ear drums. There are some cool cliffs on Table Rock Lake you can take a dive from but it's probably not for everyone.

We have some at the lake we frequent most. Two weeks ago guy jumps off and when he comes back up, he tells his buddies to jump out further. They were a little apprehensive at that point.

We left and found a different cove. I don't want to be around when one of them gets hurt.

I only see the red x instead of pictures. But I get the idea this has something to do with clif diving?

Once, looooong ago, I was camping at Parker, AZ. I was walking around the campground drinking, and doing whatever else I did back then..., and I saw this guy sitting on the tailgate of a pickup, shivering, holding his side and arm, not looking too good at all and obviosly in a lot of pain.
I asked him if he was ok. He said he jump'd from a clif and hit the rocks. OUCH! He was waiting for his friends.

One of the many things I think of now-a-days to keep me from drinking and acting stupid.

Smart move...then you would have spent your day doing a rescue...

and while I might watch it from a distance I'm at the age where you know not to partake of activities that require you butt to be above your head.....nothing good can come from that.....

OK, this is wierd. I post the pics, and they show up fine....others have seen them. Yet today, they are red X. Any computer people have a clue why?

That's got to to be 35' or 40'.

I dove off a rock that was about 15' high. When I went in it felt like being smacked with a 2x4 across the top of my head.

These guys must at least have sore feet. I wonder if liquid courage was involved.........

Ah frig...the photos are gone again and the red X is back. I give up.

I believe if they are on the yahoo photo site, they do not work for very long. I tried some a while back, and they did the same thing. Move them to the BABC photo site, and you should be good to go.

This was me jumping feet first.
The pictures don't make it seem all that far, but for some reason its different when you are standing up there and all the girls in the boat are yelling "Jump JUMP JUMP !!" .

My buddy still waiting on the rock dove headfirst and didn't say another word for a few hours after we hauled him onto the boat. He was feeling sick.

OUch, I don't think I'd ever go head first. Scary enough doing feet first and that's a long way FD...not sure I could do it.

Lake Powell has made it illegal to do anything over 15 (or maybe 25 ) feet.
Done the cliff jumping thing at Greers Ferry... maybe 40 feet or so, but only after some 12 year old came up while we were looking at it saying to each other "boy that sure looks high" the kid said,"do I have to show you how to do this" and immediatly jumped off.
We were still there when he made his way back up and said "Are you pansies still here? Do I have to show you again how to do this?" and away he went. Humiliated, We jumped after that.
Now I limit myself to the top deck of Pier Pressure, or about 12-14 feet.

Wow. I see them now. That is quite a drop

We jumped off some cliffs in Marquette into Lake Superior in college, but it was maybe a 15 foot drop, and that was scary enough for me. The water was crystal clear, so you knew what was there at least.

Sure hope this guy puts his legs together before he hits the water.

He wasn't singing in a higher tone when he came out so I think he did.... :p
