Red, when were you there? We were on Torch a couple of days last week. Little at the south end, and a couple days at a friends place on the north end. One of my favorite places to go. Hoping to get back up later in August.

Thanks. Normally go out of Homer, but this year we need to visit customers on Kodiak. Add an extra night to the trip and see what is in the water on Saturday...

We should be able to pick your boat out of the crowd. Hopefully the weather will improve. We've had a lot of rain up here for the past few days.

My 1979 Chevy Monza, for which I built a 327 SBC and hooked up to the stock Saginaw 4 speed with the tall rear gears for the four banger Vega block, lost its oil cap and I was quite broke. Ran that puppy for months with a red shop rag stuffed in the

While bigger might be better on the boat side-- there are often other things to consider --- tow vehicle and storage space for instance -- the limiting factor when I bought by 240 Four Winns was towing capacity, I might have bought a 260, but that me

The problem with NOT repairing it, is the boat then essentially becomes totally worthless. That boat in "useable" condition is still worth a few thousand bucks. Minus the cost to repair it, it's STILL money back when you sell it vs. whateve

Lost one the first time out with our previous boat. It was out first time on that particular lake and we just happened to drop the anchor into some "structure". It seems they left a lot of trees in the lake when they flooded it. Now I know

i find this story a little questionable. i can believe there were nice people around to help this guy when he needed it most. it's just hard to believe that none of them saw the other man standing just outside the bank with the huge rented fan.

Of course the troops in Irag have learned that by keeping a camel outside of their quarters at night, as bait, completely negates the risk with these spiders who would otherwise feast on their flesh!
