On vacation last week, the last time out, the up switch on my trim stopped working. The down and trailer buttons still worked fine, so using those I still had a good day. Today, I decided I'd better look into fixing it. A short search here on BA

I don't think you're silly. And although you do not solicit sympathy, I still feel compelled to share it. I cannot fathom how difficult, and perhaps scary, it must be.

I finally figured out the leak that I found back in the first part of June was the bellows after all. We were going on vacation the first two weeks of July, so on June 29 we pulled the boat and dropped it off at the shop. He said it would be round

Derek, as I said, I was not soliciting sympathy, but I thank you anyway. Yes, it is a shock to my wife. And I remember this friend from when I was dating my wife. As most young girls, she was very attractive. We tend to remember people at their be

We gotta make this earlier in July or later in August so we can attend. We usually go to the shore for the last week in July, so we'll be coming home that Saturday.

Devils Advocate: Perhaps they want you to ASK the sales person/people available. Perhaps it's a marketing gimmick to give the company sale's folks a chance to "sell" the boat. Just another line of approach. I personally am an informatio

Since we're on fuel milage, is it alright if I derail this thread for a moment? Does anyone have fuel burn numbers for two same-model, same engine boats with a single and DP/B3 drive? I wonder how much more efficient twin counter-rotators are.

Our boat won't idle below 800 rpms, and hardly moves at all in idle. It need 1,000 rpms or more to really "idle". There was one time in a 15mph headwind that the boat went backwards at 800rpm idle. I know a 1999 Merc 7.4 MPI idles at 750rp

With a 425 Hp/496 I like it, but with a 260/5.0 I do not like the price or want the boat.

See if you can do some runs at "idle, in gear" rpms and the boat speed for that engine speed (about 550 rpm).

Dale, I put a FloScan dual gauge on my boat when I got it and love it. I then did 2 trial runs (downstream and upstream following the same course) at every 200 rpm's from idle (1000) to WOT (4400). At each rpm setting I trimmed out the boat to ma

Without an engine displacement size and Hp for that engine, I do not see any value in the boat show sign as posted as to price and value for the price.
