My daughter just bought a Kodak 8.2MP (I think) digital camera that takes great pictures. It has all of the features she wanted and more and she paid just less than $100 for it. It also included a big SD card. Like Kelly said, more features will mea

I'd like some recommendations for a decent Digital SLR and lenses. My father just bought a Nikon D60, and his pictures are shockingly better than mine (with my digital point and shoots). I'd like a good general use lens, and a good telephoto lens.

I believe all cameras provide a date stamp option. You just have to dig around in the menus to get to it. Canon, Casio, Olympus, and Panasonic all offer really nice cameras at that price point. You may want to give a little thought to what other f

I have a pair of JBL L100T3 speakers, early 90s vintage if memory serves, that I use in my master bedroom. The foam surrounds on the woofers deteriorated badly, so I decided to try and fix them. Bought a kit online for about $25 and gave it a go. It

Currently I have a Canon Powershot A550. It's a 7.1 Megapixel camera. Up until now I had no major complaints with it, aside from if you don't shoot in "postcard" mode, the date will not show up and print on the pictures. The admiral and

I don't have an 8.1, yes, i suffer from Big Block envy. Anyway, an engine can hold a decent amount of oil suspended in itself. I would bet the engine takes 8qts upon initial fill. Beyond that, you likely won't need the full amount to fill it. I ca

It is better. The Charter Cable was pixelating with audio drops but that might be due to the old coax in my house? The U-Verse is installed using existing Cat5 that is about 10 years old and is working flawlessly except for some lag on response to th

Forecast in San Diego for tomorrow (Tuesday) is sunny and clear, 75 degrees, 4mph winds, 2-foot swells. Both my son and I have the day off. Any guesses what I'm going to do? *hint* Winterizing the boat will not be one of the options.

Al, see post #444320 above. Also, you may be in an area served by Verizon with their FiOS. They deliver fibre optic to the premisis whereas U-Verse is to a node that must be within 3000 feet of your house. FiOS is better with 50Mbs compared to 25Mbs

Saab 9-3 wagon. Used, they are a good deal. Good gas mileage, lots of niceties. And it sits a lot lower to the ground. Many SUV's are too high for older dogs to get in and they can hurt themselves getting out. Something to think about.
