Ha ha! That picture is ridiculous. At least in bigger, heavier boats, playing in seas requires a somewhat specific, if simple approach...power up, fall down, rinse, repeat. I'm not sure fiberglass boats have the necessary weight or torque to do

What am I listening to today in the car? My son and his best friend do some electronic/hip hop stuff. Not my first choice when listening, but he's my son, and they released an album yesterday on iTunes. Pretty cool. Their group name "952 Crew&qu

Just get a bigger boat. Then she'll see that she can't afford a foster. No thanks necessary. Just doing my part! :-)

Looking at that picture gives me shivers Al. Looking at the "other side" of the pier there you can see the entire surface of the water full of waves that match that lovely one on the pier... can't even imagine being in that.

My wife's gone off the DEEP end! (boating tie in) by Memory Maker @ Yesterday at 08:24 PM

Our oldest just left for college, we have 2 more to go. now she wants a foster child. I've been suggesting that to do that we'll need a bigger boat. Any ideas on how to get through to her?

GFC, he iis Guido! :-) And, I would take out a policy worth MUCH more than the boat! In all seriousness, this would be a used deck boat or similar- nothing serious enough for either of us to get worked up about, :-)

Most of us think of boat maintenance as DIY. For a partnership deal I expect that will be the real troublemaker. Either 1) decide that ONE guy will do ALL maintenance anyway (mit some compensation). Or 2) contract with a marina to do all maintenan

Never thought I'd say it, but some of the music I used to party all night to is just "noise" now. But as far as "diverse", I've always been fairly picky as to what I listen to, it's rare that I like even most songs on any one albu

My advice is to do it, get him to pay half the purchase cost, buy a life insurance policy on him that pays his half off if he dies, then call Guido to make that happen.
