This boat is still technically for sale. I am not really trying very hard to sell it, as it still does exactly what I need it to do. But if any of you are interested, let me know, ok?
1997 Chaparral 2135SS Sport Limited Edition. Mercruiser 5.7LX EFI Gen + (280hp) Bravo 3. 765 hours. Full camper canvas that is in very good condition, Brand New custom cockpit cover, new bench seat upholstery (it ripped at a seam after 10 years), factory shipping cover makes easy winter cover. Dual batteries with switch, automatic bilge pump. Captains chairs, rear sunpad with bench seat, porti potty, tilt steering, compass, anchor locker, anchor with 5' of plastic covered chain plus 100' line. Cuddy is big enough for two people to sleep in, my wife and I have done it several times.
1997 Shorelander tandem galvanized steel trailer with 1 axle drum surge brakes. Bearing buddies. 13" steel wheels with very good tires.
This boat is not perfect by any means, but I won't apologize for it, either. There is a stain on the cabin bulkhead fabric that is covered by the filler pad when it isn't in use. Also the sunpad has some spreading at the seems where the 2 additonal colors meet.
My dad bought this boat new and I have owned it since 2001. All freshwater use since 2001. I have several pictures, but they didn't seem to want to upload here. If you want to see them, I would be happy to e-mail them to you.
We are wanting to move up to a cabin cruiser.

Oh, I have a couple of boats in mind. We looked at an 83 SeaRay 270 that I liked (and liked the price, sort of). A guy in my boat club has a 1996 (he thinks) Bayliner 3055 that he got in a trade for a motorhome that he would seel for a really good price. Gotta sell this one first, then I'll get serious and go buy something else!
