For Sale - A piece of BABC History:
1998 Regal 2100LSR - 20'10" LOA, 5.0L V8, Mercruiser Alpha One.
1998 Custom Trailer - Single-axle (6,000lb axle) painted steel trailer
This is a turn-key boat, completely loaded and ready for 2008. Has been summerized but not used yet this year. (We're selling due to non-use.) I bought her in 2005 from DaveR and am ready to pass this cream puff on to another Board Member.
Boat Features:
Full instrumentation (Tach, speedo, depth guage, oil, temp, battery, fuel)
Docking lights
220 hp 5.0 V8 w/Mercruiser Alpha One (Gen 2)
44gal fuel tank
Pioneer AM/FM/CD/XM-ready/iPod-ready stereo head unit (installed 2007)
Reversible double-wide helm seat
Massive storage capacity
Full canvas top, including bow cover and pole
Bimini top
Mooring cover
Porta-potti
Included with the boat:
USCG safety equipment (flares, 2 fire extinguishers, pfds, etc.)
Complete set of dock lines and fenders
2 anchors (one chain rode, one rope)
Hand-held VHF Radio
1 Stainless steel 4-blade propeller (20" pitch, mounted)
1 Aluminum 4-blade propeller (20" pitch)
2 aluminum 3-blade propellers (23" pitch)
Spare tire on trailer
Spare brake cylinders
Plus a few extra spare parts (filters, belts, cleaning equipment, light bulbs, boat-specific tools, etc.)
There are 2 things wrong with the boat: The first thing is that the trim pieces that fit above the windows are cracked, and not widely available for replacement. This is cosmetic and does not affect use, fun, or safety in the slightest. It really isn't even noticeable to someone who doesn't know the cracks are there. The second thing is that the speakers are pretty well shot. Again, this doesn't affect usability, but if you like loud music, they'll need replacing. Otherwise, the boat is in great condition, with minimal signs of wear.
The trailer hubs were rebuilt in the spring of 2006. The single axle is rated for 6,000#, which is oversized for this rig by about 1,500#. It has surge brakes that function perfectly, and Goodyear Marathon tires. I never had a problem towing with this setup.
